You think you can run away
From all the sadness, all the pain

You think you're the only one that ever tried
To just go run and hide

Pain is unavoidable
You should know this all too well
Every time you run from it
You get a new tale to tell

It hurts
But there's no other way
You either face it head on
Or deal with it another day

This is a very good poem and so very true. It seems to me that you were either thinking of yourself or a close friend when you wrote this, it was emotional, but somehow detatched. Good job.
