Lonliness

I stare out the window

And watch the world go by

Day in and day out

All I can do is cry

I watch as the people live their lives

As time passes me by

Never allowed to escape

No matter how hard I try

I sit in that tower

All alone in that tower

All I can do is cry

I could become stronger

But no matter how hard I try

The strength never seems to come

No matter how hard I try

The loneliness still filled my soul

It never seemed to go away

I guess I'll never know
