Hidden in a shadow

Her mother left unable to bear it

She wanted to scream but she knew no one would help her

When he finished he left her there

She laid there and cry till no more tears would come

This is such a powerful and frightening subjust... it seems like it's almost taboo in a way, but you put it out there in a straightforward way that's forceful just like the subjust itself and even if you haven't experience something like this, it's still such a brave thing to do. And you've done it well as the format really leads you into the uncomfortable state very quickly and you know what's coming, and you want to stop, but you can't. It's really powerful.
It adds to the pain of it when you use childish references like "daddy", you might even be able to bring that into the other desciptions like that of the alcoholic smell (how would a child percieve and describe that?)
