Wish for flight

Wish for flight

A Poem by forbiddendreamer

The birds fly away as I watch in jealousy
Their wings mocking me
Their wings perfectly made for flight
While I'm stuck on the ground
With wings battered and broken
I watch with envy
As they gracefully fly away to freedom
