Moon

Moon

A Poem by June Rose
"

I once fell in love with the Moon.

"

Moon lulls me to slumber

as I lay in his arms;

Go away, Sun-

Jealousy isn't allowed.

The stars blink,

Trying to rest their weary eyes;

Moon lies me down on

an asteroid blanket, covering me

with the night sky.

And all I could whisper:

"I love you, Moon."
