A "gift" from summer

A "gift" from summer

A Poem by Skib
"

This particular piece; I drew inspiration from memories of a heatwave whilst stuck on public transport. Not a time I will look back on with pleasure, that is for sure.

"
A sticky heat amidst
polluted breeze
standing under blazing rays
Staring at agitated face
whilst beads of greasy perspiration
climb down the contours
of exposed skin.
