He Destroyed Me

He Destroyed Me

A Poem by kaycee

he destroyed me

and i let him in

my walls were knocked down

i shaved them so thin

it was too easy

and it happened so fast

i drank this poison

with the promise that it would last

but the drugs have worn off

my mind was made free

and every step of the way

i've been protesting

i've had not enough

and altogether too much

of his tragic weapons

i crumble at the touch
