It can be scary to be around people. But sometimes being alone with yourself and your thoughts is so much more terrifying.

Good title, Milady! I can relate to this as I have anxiety when around more than a few people at a time and I just don't know why...

I get scary thoughts when I'm alone. I was in a room the other night and I could see the light from my bedroom reflecting off the brick wall of the house next door. For a minute I thought about how scary it would be to see a shadow moving in the light. These thoughts pop into my head all the time. But only when I'm alone.
