There are always two sides to every person. Mirrors can make us happy or make us hate ourselves. Just know that you were born to be you, unique, different. Everyone has their flaws or certain things that they don't like about themselves. For me, it's my teeth & my acne. I'm very self-conscious of my appearance some days, but I learn to accept it as a part of who I am and continue my day. We all just need to build up the courage to love ourselves inside & out. It's important to be mentally happy in life & that's what pushes us towards our achievements. I'm proud of how powerful you made this...I'm sure it speaks to a lot of those who are struggling with loving themselves.

Such a crazy thing it all is. We are taught early on the difference between the inside (us) and the outside (world.) We're told the reflection in the mirror is not somebody else, but ourselves. We're told "reality" is often something that must simply be dealt with. And that we must deal with it "reasonably" or "within reality." It's either sink or swim really. It's either lose a few marbles every second because you've nowhere to put them, or keep them all in one basket until that mere accident of an action sends them pouring down to the surface. You allude to person vs physical reflection, though words, being reflections of our "soul" or whatever you'd like to call it, might also be likened to the mirror. They (words) just as the mirror, can be (broken, mis-shaped, mis-aligned, mis-interpreted, and misused.) But I wonder....is it easier to be tricked by a mirror, or by words? What I mean is, when we look at a physical mirror, we see our body, and since we're told what our body looks like, and we can see enough of it to guess, a mirror , "no matter what kind, be it a normal one, a circus mirror, or a broken one" , won't fool us too easily. We see it as but amusement, a trip, or a fun fright, and at worse just a typical morning. But words, being more lucid in nature, might tell a whole different story.
