Exercise 7

Prompt: Write two paragraphs describing a person, the first being strictly physical appearance, the second being personality

A brown-skinned boy, Indian, Arabic? It was hard to tell for his caramel face told of both. Hair that was a stark ebony, falling carelessly just above his shoulders, clothes also carelessly thrown on but fitting him like a regal gown. You could almost picture him in the heat of the Rajastani desert, turban and tunic, blistering through the sand like the adventurous Ali Baba. There is a soft, amused expression on his face, as though his mud-drop eyes see everything in a jocular light.

And in truth, he is a jocular boy, finding delight in the smallest of follies and displays of wit. He listens to each voice with understanding and interest, a king watching over his subjects with fairness and mirth. Joy be the moment when one realizes that they have won his trust and companionship, to be alongside him in his wonderful exploits.
