Lonliness

how i've been feeling for a while

No one here but the ghosts 

They whisper in my ear

I can shake them off in the daylight

But in the dark they reappear

I can fill the house with noises

And they still won't go away

Nothing I do seems to work

Nothing keeps them at bay

You ask me how I'm doing

Though my eyes show lack of sleep

Fine mother, roses and sugar

I can't let you know I'm weak

But these ghosts don't care what I say

They still push me to the verge

Clawing at my brain

Leaving nothing but the hurt

They're silent companions

And that's what scares me most

I can't tell if they're even there

Those devilish little ghosts

Maybe next time I'll tell you the truth

Beg you please to stay

Beg you not to leave me

Alone in this house this way

But maybe next time will be too late

Because the lights around me dim

They're getting ready to attack mother, 

The ghosts are going to win
