ProgressA Poem by Sonia
Pencil scratches and loops of figures
A life of binder paper cover the globe in the crumpled mass 'cause we'll clean it up later Furs in summer and ballroom gowns Fabrics red and white warehouse coats fresh off the minx squeeze the silk worms dry A house for every man, oh yes, let the animals share the tree Mansions for the rich who live alone Hollows for the rabbit family If Adam and Eve lived in under the stars wore leaves of fig wrote words on their hearts Why do we need what we make why do we "starve"? © 2010 SoniaAuthor's Note
