KissA Poem by SoniaWhat doest a kiss feel like? Is it soft like a rose petal? a brush on the cheek? Is it gentle or strong? Timid? Meek?
I know my years are young Many skies I have yet to see So why this thirst when a drink just drunk, why this longing, why this plea?
Hands enclosed enclose me Squeeze out my breath So that i walk down these streets in pain Living a life of death
These lips are stiff and forever numb longing for a warmth unknown longing for an unfelt touch to melt the frigid heart and bones
What does a kiss feel like? Is it like an autumn wind? a fire or a glow? Is it beautiful, is it brief? I pray I'll someday know © 2010 SoniaAuthor's Note
