![]() The Hidden MirrorA Poem by Sonia
There in the midst of a thousand faces
covered artwork on the sill hidden behind tainted cloth clasped in iron's unyielding will And there the artist, with frantic eyes, implores to them and vainly cries "Will no one see? Will no one see? Will no one see the world I paint, with cruel strokes, and color faint? Will no one know? Will no one know? A finer looking glass you could not find, Oh hear the bellows pigmented through time! Will no one accept? Will no one accept?" Yet the frail and weak are timid still, and though you try and accost, none will tear the sheet from its place, and so the crime is lost. © 2010 SoniaAuthor's Note
