Favorite Things

If i were to die today
here's what i'd take with me
an ocean, some sand,
a cool summer breeze

A violin, a piano
A crackling fire
One robin, or two
and a singing choir

The smell of flour
of old dusty books
The taste of warm bread
slightly undercooked

All the sketches i can sketch
All the colors i can find
All the cakes i can bake
All the trees i can climb

The feeling of adventure
fairy tales and fantasies
video games, disney movies
nachos with cheese

The sun warming my back
Times spent buried in sand
Hills of grass to roll down
Clay to squish in my hands

Animals great and small
Shops full of candy
If i were to die today
all this i'd take with me
