The Morning Awakens

The Morning Awakens

A Poem by sk8tagirl95

As I watched

     The misty morn descended

Creeping first, then boldening as its frosted crystal

     curtain

Drew aside to reveal the rampant rays,

Like fiery arrows of bronze magenta

     They struck the dying dewdrops

Sparking explosions of emeral ecstasy

And setting ablaze a sapphire sky,

Whilst all around

     The minstels of the morning

Announced the dawning of a new day.
