Fluidity Inevitability

Fluidity Inevitability

A Poem by Steve L.
"

Change is a stark reality...It may slap you in the face...be ready for it.

"

Static cognition is an extinct species…

Searching for solace in stagnancy is futile…

Neurons emit electrical storms of change each nanosecond…

Our mortal timelines do not exist on a rigid path…

I am a different person today than the one I was yesterday…

Infinite possibilities invade and mold our thoughts, actions…

Don’t fret about the tree that has lost its leaves…

Don’t obsess about a jilted lover who has moved on…

Adaptability is essential to reality…

Permanence is non-existent…

Ever flowing are the tides of change.

Thank you!! I appreciate your review!
Nothing as constant as change, absolutely true. We morph each day...we lose cells, encounter different people and varied situations. Philosophically lovely. Lydi**

Wow!!! I really appreciate your kind words!!!
This is a wonderful philosophical poem that flows well and makes a clear point. Well done. I especially love the recognition that there is no solace in standing still, because we will change despite ourselves.

Thank you very much!!
I adore some of the phrasing in this one... "electrical storms of change"..."adaptability is essential to reality"... aptly titled for this flows exquisitely.. from page to mind to heart.. well done Steve... what a perfect ending to a stunning piece... one of my new favorites of yours..

you're welcome Steve.. :)
I love the scientific spin on this, sort of reminds me of the animal kingdom, adaption and migration...
Sometimes we have to adapt, sometimes we've just got to move the hell on...
Other times you gotta let sleeping dogs lie (hibernation, just snuck that one in for a chuckle)
Great work.
