CrashA Poem by Sarah JaneJust the beginning of something
Tires screeching,
Trying not to hit the edge, Silently reaching, For someone who isn't there. Trying not to hit the edge, We fell over it, I tried to save us, But I failed us. We fell over it, Falling weightless, And it all makes sense, We weren't meant to be saved. Falling weightless, Memories rise to the surface, Promises that were made, But now are broken.
