Lovers tears

Lovers tears

A Poem by registeredisaster

Hope so small its almost gone

A nightingales beautiful song

Moonlight shines upon the sea

The world is wrapped in serenity

I hear a whispered voice's call

I feel tranquil unable to fall

The voice grows a little louder

I open my eyes, brush away the powder

I see the moon bright and cold

I remember stories told of old

On this beach years ago

To lovers perished, plummiting low

They say if you sleep near by

You could almost hear the lovers cry
