Long departed

The love life which was long forgotten until the memories re-emerged..

It wasn't a part of my life

Until I realized it already was

And I began flowing along 

To reach an unknown land...

Hand in hand, we walked together

And shared every other thought

Kissed and made love and fell in love

Not realizing that the dreams don't last...

Why did that moment end

Or why has it re-emerged now

I feel my heart beats drop

When I recall you from the past...

Oh yea! maybe I was a fail

To have let you go away

But it was the greatest fear in me

'Can I always keep her happy!'

Now when you're not here

Being honest, I rarely think of you

Trust me, I hate being this broken hearted

When I wonder why have we been long departed!

Brilliant feelings. Made me remember some less than nice past myself. However if I can come with some thoght. Then in the line "Not realizing that the dreams don't last..." I personally would remove "the" and maybe that.. in my head the line would come out a lot cleaner and if it was "not realizing dreams don't last..." overall though i enjoyed the poem quite a lot. And i will look forward to your next piece keep it up champ.
