So what?

i wrote it, sort of to my parents but it's about a great guy i know.

 

 

 

You know, I think he’s amazing.

His heart is resilient, and has been broken

By everybody he shows it to, but it’s still

The most beautiful I’ve ever seen.

 

His eyes are so dark I don’t know where they begin

Let alone where they end

And it’s the only darkness I am comfortable

Being engulfed in.

 

People I know judge him so harshly.

His past isn’t blemish free

But they think he is the same punk

Skater boy he was when he was sixteen.

 

But now he’s twenty-two and his mind’s a little sharper.

He’s trying to better his surroundings

And that’s why he moved here

It’s a little odd it’s only a mile away…

 

So what if I drive over just so he might notice me?

So what if he’s my brothers’ best friend?

So what if he’s a little bit experienced in this whole game of love?

And what’s more, so what if he talks to me?

 

So what if I’ve tried to get him to like me for four years?

So what if we went to dinner last night?

So what if he asked me to a concert next weekend?

And so what, so what if he likes me?

it's not amazingly written. but thats okay. I like it. the picture is a portrayal of the sign 'cancer' and the guy's a cancer. haha.
