It RainsA Poem by C.B.haiku. was at work during a storm. wrote it down on a napkin
It’s a song ringing So softly, gently, my eyes Can see light no more… Feeble rhythm peaks
Highest as the present leaves I feel only rain Trickle on my head
Thunder crashes in my ears, Metallic plasma shines Direct on my brow
Eyes alight in mystery All of this makes sense- Returning… again…
What was I thinking about now? I gasp—look again- Trees blown back and forth,
Diamonds of water pouring Low, angry, thunder… © 2008 C.B. |
