Bullied

Bullied

A Story by Katie and Heather co-author stories

She sees you through her broken eyes
You’re the one that’s blind.
You’ll never see,
What you do to people like her.
And those scars aren’t just skin deep,
 you can’t see,
How much her soul bleeds

You feel all great and powerful
With the words and comments
That you use to tear her down
All you are doing is killing her
Talking about what you think you know
Putting on your little show
While she’s crying
 You stole her smile
Broke her spirit
I ask if I can ever heal it
And she’s lying
She wants to run,
Never look back,
Fix herself before the next attack

You feel all great and powerful
With the words and comments
That you use to tear her down
All you are doing is killing her
She wants to fade,
Make these memories
Just part of her past
So she put that gun right to her head,
Tell me,
Is your joke still funny,
Now that she’s dead.
Do you see now
You’ve killed a bright girl
Who was going to go far
And do great things
But can’t now because you killed her
