This Day You Will Rue

 

Lasting, staying, hurting

those words

you say them, you mean them

you want them to hurt.

 

Clouding my thoughts

tearing me down

Making me feel

you don't want me around.

 

Everything scattered

you're making me scream

I sometimes just wish

this was all just a dream.

 

slaughtered and screaming

my heart feels like this,

tearing but still beating

so much stronger than my wrists.

 

Cutting? Not cutting

i won't resolve to that

for cutting would result

in a terrible spat.

 

Instead i will listen

to my heart within

letting all of my feelings

take the win.

 

Stacking and stacking

piling high

these feeling hurt me

make me want to cry.

 

Instead i will hold my head up

as high as i can

knowing and remembering

i will always have my best friend.

 

There by my side,

helping me through.

I don't need you anymore

This Day You WILL Rue.

I like this poem very much soo! It shows the evil's of life. But there will always be someone there for you. Just gotta keep moving forward...as for the people that did you wrong, it will eventually get back at them..so yes This Day You Will Rue!
