A moment lost

Baby if i close my eyes just for a second

even when i blink for a nanosecond

i would visualise the darkness within me

a moment of reality will be missed

the past cannot be relived

the future cannot be predicted

but the present will me ticked by

there will be no sunshine, no moonshine

no clouds, no stars in the sky

just a vast space of emptiness

my world is dark without light

without opening eyes, the light is gone

the shallow breathe i take with fear

the grudge that i carry around 

i find myself in a loop of doubt

as a survivor of nothingness

like the leaves have left the tree

the water had left the river

and the fishes had left the ocean

if i let my life out in this darkness

i will be downhearted with dark thoughts

the weight of darkened heart will be nothing 

but the ashes of my burned soul

But baby, when you are with me,

if i close my eyes just for a second

i would visualise the perfect you

i will miss a second to be with you

and a moment lost to see you in real.
