A shadow

I always want you to be my shadow, dark and ugly

Expression less and dull, always lying on the ground

Shapeless without a light, fades away in the darkest hour

Thats what i want you to be, vanish without any existence

I always daydreamed about your presence, your existence

Always with me, by my side, in my ups and downs

And of course, in the rough time, during my disappointments

I would have naturally enjoyed your company in my happy hours

In my ugly moments, the thought of you is my armour

Often wished for your lead in my worse moments

And I always hoped your existence in my fall to hold me

And candidly speaking, wanted you by my side all the time

The moments had passed, years gone by, 

Yet time never stopped and the memory never faded away, 

The eyes are blurred and vision’s not clear and the walk is trembling

I can’t remember the last time when i saw you around me

I want you to be my shadow, darker and uglier

Always down to earth, never rise without necessity

But the moments changed, situation differed and you left

Without saying goodbye as if i never existed
