chapter FOUR: A Deal Struck

chapter FOUR: A Deal Struck

A Chapter by Loki Gress

I woke up in the morning in my bed Anna sleeping there with me under the sandman's charm. I followed through with my usual routine shower, shave, eat, and go out. I went for a little walk around the neighborhood when some rather unwanted fellows decided that I was a good target for a Manhattan Pocket Dance or what other people call a mugging.
"Any chance we can talk this out?" I asked "We ain't in the mood to make friends, or talk. Just had me your wallet and everything will be alright." the leader of the gang said. He was an average sized fellow, but his face was covered with dirt and scars, his eyes as green as a leaf and his voice as rough as sandpaper on a chalkboard. "Fair enough, I'm not up for talking either." I replied. The man smirked and said to his friends. "Ok boys lets F**K HIM UP AND STEAL HIS S**T!" They charged at me like a pack of wolves onto a fleeing deer, one man was armed with a knife that I was able to get away from him fast. I dispatched the foolish gang with haste and efficiency, the leader had tried to flee I had climbed to the roof nearby and followed him to a near by abandoned warehouse.
"You insolent fool, running has not made me tired but angry. YOU DIE LIKE THE DOG YOU ARE! for the lives of many innocent are on your hands and now its time I clean them. for your sins you will DIE HERE!" I screamed at him he fell to his knees with terror he begged for mercy. As i walked toward him with a quickening pace and when I got close I pounced like a lion driving the knife deep into his throat, I pulled the knife with such power that I shattered his skull and left it in his heart.
i walked home and reached in my coat pocket and called Alice. She told me that the man I killed was the leader of a local gang of raiders and thieves with intent to kill everyone that they come across for their money. It was a good thing that he had been taken out because his gang was preparing to move onto the bigger things. She still had that offer on the table I gladly accepted her offer with two catches. Anna be protected and I do things my way.
