Chapter 2 First Blood

My first real contract, well the first one I’m actually getting paid for at least. My target is the death dealer nicknamed la Boucher, a French mercenary that kills more innocent than he saved and he was in Italia and he had to die before he left the country. A dangerous foe and one that I care not to mess with so an arrow should do the trick or so I hoped for extra precaution I poisoned the arrows and the crossbow bolts encase of armor I must be prepared for everything, this man, this cruel being is a monster of a man from what I read; tall hispanic Frenchman, long dark hair, Jade green e,yes, bout 260lbs of mucile and favoured an axe, so obviously swords daggers and fists were out of the question, and the armor he wore was made from pressed forged carbon and steel so an arrow would break in half, making the armor almost inposible to penitrate accept for my high powered strung crossbow.

He was in town to do some serious damage to the Doge, the ruler of Italy not direct damage but tarrorize the citizens. I was to go tell the Doge and ask him to inform his gaurds, his gaurds if they spoted this man to go to our safehouse in Veice and ask for me. So I rode, the path ahead was one that my horse would barly endure, it was a 117km ride. When I reached my destination
