A Poem by Cortney Lynn
"

Well, I had a really good day yesterday with someone I love and we listened to some really great music by this band called High Places and I was drawing a picture that involved the poem Escapade by David Levithan and I got this from those inspirations.

"

We were walking through a patch of wildflowers
And you said,
Eyes are such curious things.
Why? I inquired
And you told me,
What would the world be without color?
Very
Very
Very
Dark, I said
Then I decided
What would the world be like without music?
Very
Very
Very
Quiet, You replied.
Ears and eyes are such curious things, said I,
As are mouths and noses.
But hands are the most curious,
You wondered.
And I couldn’t help to think
As we sat beneath the awning
And watched the lighting roll by
And heard the thunder flash
That I really need

to have you here.

About
I'm Cortney. I would probably enjoy it more if you took the time to get to know me, but that's okay. Everyone thinks that I am more complex or more simple than I actually am. You are lucky if you h.. more..
