A Gap in Time

A Gap in Time

A Poem by Cortney Lynn
"

i wrote this on graph paper during gym after reading something a friend wrote. i dunno....

"

I will drown out your words

with my never ending,

never fading songs.

Don't leave me alone with my thoughts.

Don't let my mind wander.

So keep my mouth moving

and my eyes averted

until all that spills from my mouth

are philosophies and epiphanies

and there is nothing left for me to find.

For some reason, I am compelled to go through a bunch of your writing.
We think very similarly.

its all good,
most of mine are short too.

length does not make it any worse or less, because this poem is dazzling.
but im slighhhtly confused on the idea behind it.

About
I'm Cortney. I would probably enjoy it more if you took the time to get to know me, but that's okay. Everyone thinks that I am more complex or more simple than I actually am. You are lucky if you h.. more..
