Ruled By Fear

I wrote this on graph paper in Algebra. i'm going to miss that class.

Thunder, Lightning.

Crash, Flash.

A yell, a scream

all hidden with truth.

Our fists flying

and teeth tearing,

just trying to find

the truth

that is hiding our pain;

the truth

that is hidden by fear

that is only diguised

by thunder and lightning.

i love how your poems are so short, but to the point. sometimes straightforward, othertimes a little more subtle. i like it.


and i love this poem because thunder and lightning are such great ways to describe a lot of different feelings.
