MemoriesA Poem by Vishal SinghA part of life.I am walking alone at night on the street, Drops of rain falling on the concrete, The lights on the road, go dim and glow, Like memories in my mind, flashing to n fro.
Her smile, her laugh, the tears n cry, She walked and talked, as if always high, The voice, so sweet, like playing melodies, Those eyes, they shone, like shells in the seas.
A glimpse of her, did make my day, Smile on my lips, one phone call away, Spending the morning, scrolling her text, Wasting my sleep, waiting for the night next.
Her hands in mine, fingers were cold, Head on my shoulders, my arms she would hold, I wished night n day, the moments to repeat, Nothing but in her presence, I felt complete.
Now rings a cycle bell, passes the pizza boy, I swear at the poor thing, who had no intentions to annoy, Back into my head, the thoughts I try to seize, But the rain had gone, and so my memories.
