I Saw You

I Saw You

A Poem by Vishal Singh
"

#Nostalgia

"

Was that a dream, or was that you,

That I saw, and bade adieu,

Oh shall I listen to my mind,

Or trust my eyes, that saw you.

Though I know, that you have gone,

And I wished, you had held on,

Coz without you, my heart does beat,

But the beat makes sound none.

My feet, take me to your door,

Search you my eyes, with tears sore,

My arms spread, crave your embrace,

And the lips await a kiss, once more.

I walk the streets on my own,

They ask why am I alone,

I say, oh she has left,

My footsteps cease, I hear them moan.

Did you ever feel the way I do,

Were your feelings, as mine true,

This I wanna meet, and ask you,

Now that am sure, I saw you.

Mmm....carve for the one who's already moved and has less than less percent of return!
But hope sustains life right?!
Nice read😊
