The Girl

The Girl

A Poem by Vishal Singh
"

Fantasy

"

Girl, the day i saw you,

Were shining beneath the blue,

Smiling through your eyes,

I believed angels were true.

I looked upon your face,

Curls waved aside by the breeze with grace,

You waited for the unexpected,

Unaware of the life's pace.

My gaze at you broken,

With rush of crowd through me a sudden,

When i came back for you,

Guess by the no.34 you were taken.

Behind the pacing bus i ran,

To let my eyes see you, the most it can,

But I missed what my heart sought for,

Cause life for me had other plan.

Never did I try to find,

You I had pushed to the back of my mind,

But i do smile when you run into my thoughts,

Deep down, my heart says you're one of a kind.
