the edge

I found this piece in an old journal of mine from the 7th or 8th grade. Thought I'd share my findings, my poetry I suppose. (It's not too great, keep in mind this was several years ago.)

deep breath,

come away from the

edge

from your yesterday’s troubles

and tomorrow’s 

dreads

there’s a light at the

end

a glorious day-

your heart will mend

all will be

okay

ahhh comitting suicide at height! Yet it does not solve the problem! troubles must be forgiven and not always not something to think about! or it will give you regretted thoughts by doing something stupid.!
its great how there's someone who'd convince you from comitting suicide!..this is such a great piece! Keep writing!

Hey, yeah. I've been down that road and had my attempts, i wouldn't necessarily say it's stupid. It's just an escape route when existing gets too tough to handle. But i've learned that life goes on and that everything will be 'okay' in the end, and that you just gotta stick around to see what positive things life has to offer. I'm glad you got something out of this piece, thank you so much! xx

I think everyone had there attempts.. Especially me. I've Always had my suicidal thoughts when I'm depressed, but couldn't attempt it. I will miss out every other things that would happen around me. Thanks for sharing though! I enjoyed it :)

All will be okay... Even though the poem is a few years old, it still holds such meaning. Suicide is usually never the answer, and no one wins when one takes away his/her own life. I love how simple this poem is written, and yet how it has such renown problems. Good job you from the past, and keep it up you of the present.
