Touch Me

Touch Me

A Poem by Sincere

Touch me but not just with hands

Your eyes cloak my body

Examine this damaged specimen

Can you fix me

Nurse me back to health

Can you love me

As other before you could not

Will you use me

Until you yourself are healthy

And than run off

I want you touch me

But not just physically

When you are away

And I am all alone

I still want to feel your presence

When I close my eyes

I want to see you

When I am sleeping

I want to dream of you

When I am thinking

I want to think of you

Where those before you have failed

I want you to thrive

Please I’m asking you to touch me

Not just hold me

But to truly touch me

I want you touch this heart

I want you to pump new life

Through these veins

Give this body

Give this soul

Give my life meaning once again

I beckon to you my love

Touch me not only with hands

Touch me not only with your eyes

Touch me not only with your kiss

Touch me with your soul

Touch me with all of you

Touch me my love

So that I know

That you are real

Touch me so I know

That I can awaken

From this long sleep

Please my love I ask of you

Touch me & awaken your sleeping prince
