The Endless War Of Memories.A Poem by Simran Kewlani
The memories burned in her head,
Igniting a fire inside her heart, Bringing tears to her eyes, She remembered all the good times. The laughter, the smiles and the screams, All rang in her ears, deafening her otherwise, The places and people brought a smile to her face, As she remembered all the good times. The easiness of living in the past hit her, The intensity of the present was practically killing her, The future continued to scare her, While she remembered all the good times. -Simran Kewlani 04.12.2015 © 2016 Simran KewlaniAuthor's Note
