He Is Love.

He Is Love.

A Poem by Simran Kewlani

Love came back walking,
Locking me in his arms,
Taking me along.

Snapping me out of my fantasy,
Taking me along his life,
For once I lived life and not just survived.

I knew what love is,
But not what it meant,
For now I can see it in front of my eyes.

His eyes boring holes in my back,
As I walk back into the fantasy I possess,
Away from life, away from pain.

I walked back into the prison of life,
Hoping for happiness,
But all I saw was love walking away and my dream breaking down.

Love is quite a dimention in itself, that more often than not, we borrow into our life. Thing is, no one will demand love back, it can be ours for life. Oh, sure, we can give it, and the real trick is keep giving it. It is never wrong to give, the wrong is in staying.
Actually, love is not something to talk about, just feel. Where love is concerned talking sounds like justification. It requires none. Ever.

Harsh experience and hopefully wisdom gained ... sometimes we must lose what we hold most dear to understand ourselves better ... nice one xx

It's gut wrenching that feeling you describe Simran, the sentiment was well done, I felt this one.

i liked the last 3 lines , they just amplify the chaos inside . an easy going poetry where one enjoys every single emotion.

Nice writing Simran:) Some things that come our way hurt us deeply. But behind the hurt is wisdom gained and the opportunity to learn and to improve. Even when the light is not shining, it's just beyond the clouds---Levi

All it takes is the right person to make us feel things we never though we could… lovely piece of emotion outpour.
