Love Lost.

Love Lost.

A Poem by Simran Kewlani

Even love gave up trying,

Looking at me crying.

All day and all night I cried,

Tried to recover the smile.

We were done, forever,

Never were we supposed to revert to the other.

My mascara had spread,

My eyes were all red,

A dreadful face was enough to wear.

Love was never supposed to be there,

Where the girl herself doesn't care.

With the messy hair and a horrifying face,

She walked through life just faking a smile.

That was the last time I loved,

The last time I was loved,

Because then, love just thought of me as a joke.

hmm... I like this seems love stings us all.

Beautiful yet so very sad.

these lines spoke to me.

With the messy hair and a horrifying face,

She walked through life just faking a smile.
