Those Eyes.

Eyes speak what the lips are unable to.

Eyes that never lie,

Pile the tears for the later cry,

Fight with the world faking a smile,

Hide behind the world crying all night,

Lost and unknown those eyes were,

Searching for something known,

Bright as the light,

Strong and mighty as the knight.

 

Eyes that never cry,

Eyes that always try,

Make contact with fire,

While the tears have been flowing forever.

 

The eyes that never cry,

The eyes that never lie,

Are they the eyes that are satisfied?

Or the eyes that always try?

Yes it is true that looking in another''s eye you can tell a lot about what they are feeling, but some do put on a poker face and can fool you as well. Excellent work my friend, really love this one.

A poker face cannot always hide the sadness in one's eyes. It's just a mask. But, some people have the ability to look through that mask and judge the person's feelings. I can judge it very well. I have been one of the people hiding her emotions behind a fake smile. And guess what? It actually works. :)

Eyes are definitely telling. Would have preferred 'night' to 'knight' in that last line, first stanza but see you used it earlier, doesn't flow as well, nonetheless, enjoyed Simran.
