The PoisonA Poem by Williamsome would rather die than live in shame.Pride and Wrath, whilst they hide hostility, exchanging lies in stiff formality. poisonous half-truths like weapons wounding whilst insults strike with harsh brutality. Wrath-ful anger, violence acclaiming, his ire, his hate, patience abrading, and he doth strike Pride, with vicious intent, pain and fear as hate masquerading. the performance repeated sows resent, no thing in sight doth help end her torment, pain persists, agony no thing will allay, decision ‘tis made, the sky doth lament. poison courses through her veins, the life of decay, her last breath doth spun, whilst her heart gives way.
