A Poem by simplyjaded

evasive eyes; stealthy smile
body: a tarnished canvas of aged ink.
the culprit of my disfigured future.
abandon all uncertainties
and arouse my defiled mind.
sift through sterile lies
to find forgotten truths.
lips smile while eyes cry.
ashamed yet addicted
while basking in the calamity of you.

the last line is a poem in itself. doesn't sound like a terribly healthy relationship, but it makes a good poem.
