black hearted and calloused

heavy expression: light emotion.

waves of sweat.

it is the dungeon

the black bedroom of their bondage.

struggling intent to

convince their bodies

to move harshly as one.

she will not end her wobbling courtship

she will push him

until he cannot help but show her

how it feels to be smothered hard.

that is the fear

the disruption

the unbalance.

failing to end useless ugly desire

or vomiting up bile

onto her burden of mad devotion.

The last line defines the entire thing. I struggle with making a connection at the end of poems but you did an amazing job. It concluded in such a way that it felt complete.

I liked the contrast between the "heavy expression" and "light emotion."
