tongue spewing fire onto virgin skin

disregard my past and pause my future

my fingertips sizzle in sadness

i am weary in your wrong-doing;

fostered in your falsehood.

i defy your calloused heart

and snub your impious measures.

snatch me from this place of innocence

ruled by your corruption.
