A Poem by simplyjaded

am i not adequate for your love?
alienate me from this misery.
authentic smiles submit to
silent regards
as i decorate your mind
with angelic brutality.
condemn me no more
for your outcome will fail.
i stand with a bouquet
of sinful thoughts
and feel compelled to share.
am i transparent to your eyes?
i feast upon your innocence
and long for your corruption.
your lukewarm existence
fails to accept me
and the world.

ok. two lines got me in this poem. the first..."i stand with a bouquet of sinful thoughts" . what better gift is there to present to someone? at least someone of the same frame of mind. then 'i feast upon your innocence and long for your corruption". the dichotomy of being attracted to the innocence but at the same time wanting to ravish it is quite well expressed here. not that i would identify with this at all. ahem.... nice writing.
