I Miss You Like Crazy

I Miss You Like Crazy

A Poem by simplisticwoman

So here I sit alone
In this little Cafe
Tryin to wake up
Lookin forward to the day
I'm still tryin to wipe
The sleep from my eyes

I miss you like crazy
How you been doin
Hope all is well
Where have you been goin
Everything here seems so hazy

I wish I had pictures of you
Something I could go to
Cause it would make me smile
I wander what you look like
Hopefully I'll be there in a while

I miss you like crazy
How you been doin
Hope all is well
Where have you been goin
Everything here seems so hazy

I'm glad you're with your daddy
I hope you both are happy
It's been hard not to see you grow
But no matter how the wind may blow
Always know you'll always be my babies

I miss you like crazy
How you been doin
Hope all is well
Where have you been goin
Everything here seems so hazy

This brought tears to my eyes,as I am sure you were prolly cryin when you wrote it. I miss my little girl so much that I can't even see a child and not break down bawlin.

Thank you for telling how you truly feel, it means so very much Stefanie

Simple emotion packed into a powerful piece. It's hard to miss someone once they are gone, knowing they are out there in the world somewhere experiencing new things, learning, and growing. I understand that feeling completely. This was a great write, and I liked how you repeated the one stanza.
"I miss you like crazy
How you been doin
Hope all is well
Where have you been goin
Everything here seems so hazy"

Great job!
