Our Spangled Banner Of Freedom

Our Spangled Banner Of Freedom

A Poem by Jacqueline
"

This is a rewrite of Oh Beautiful and the Star Spangled Banner

"

Our Beautiful Spangled banner of freedom
what so proudly we hailed
at Dawn's early light.
The rockets glare of
fire in the sky
, bombs bursting in our ears.
We sat in fields of majesty
and golden waves of fire and ashe.
Those stripes bright stars burnt.
The flags only banner that screams.
I watched you stumble and
united you weren't
so divided you fell.
Under the spacious skies,
no purple mountains or magostys.
We are proud in the night
that our flag is gone.
We our bravely we fall and
crown thyself righteousness
with brotherhood.
From the skys to the seas,
may God shed his mercy and
kill all the bombs in the spacious skies.
Were we lost our freedom rings.
.
