If you are to speak, speak the truth,
Don't wander from the path.
Let others truly trust your mouth,
Not walk on broken glass.
The world is hard enough as it is,
Without you breaking it apart.
Keep your words in line with this,
Follow the good side of your heart.

Honesty is a gift we are given,
By all the ones with hearts beating.
But you never seem to return the favor,
From you the lies are bleeding.
It oozes from your nose, mouth and eyes,
Yet you seem un-hindered.
The pain you bring to others,
Only makes the fire more kindled.

Lies break hearts,
Mine is more specific.
You never seem to care about,
The pain you bring to me.
