Dancing in the Rain

Dancing in the rain

Twirling under the falling drops

I love the feeling of the untainted water

Falling on my face.

 

Falling on my head

Soaking through my hair.

Leaving droplets on my face

My make-up begins to blair.

 

I begin to run ...

Run through the rain as fast as I can

I don't know where I'm going

I really don't care, cause I'm having so much fun.

 

Dancing in the rain

Enjoying every moment while it lasts

I don't want it to stop

But the sun will appear soon enough.

 

But I will not cry because I truly know

That after the rain comes the next best part

The part people take for granted

The spreading rainbow from the prisms in the sky.
