Hurting Ourselves

They say its bad to hurt yourself, but don’t we all hurt ourselves?  We may not realize it, but really we cause ourselves more pain than we can bear.  The mom who said no to divorce because of her baby, the teenager who said yes to soccer because of his parents, the girl who said yes to sex because of others.  Nobody sees this as hurting themselves but everybody else does.  It hurts inside, even though we never feel it, it hides our broken heart when he didn’t know it wasn’t whole.
